When a racist white man refuses to acknowledge a black man at the gas station, God would sovereignly use this same black man to rescue him from his drowning truck after he hydroplanes and crashes into a lake.  When the racist man regains consciousness and realizes that the man who just sacrificed his life to save him is the same black man whom he rejected earlier, he instantly repents of hate and the two become friends for life.
